If you want to be the first to know you have to go to the New York Television Festival (I know I'm just all about festivals lately....there's a Renaissance one coming up!(I still have(somewhere) my hand in wax...classy!)). It starts tomorrow and runs through Sunday 9/9.

In 2006, the Festival launched its first “Premiere Week” screening series,featuring star-studded, red-carpet debuts of new fall shows from major networks such as NBC, ABC and FOX. Entering its third year in 2007, the NYTVF Panel Discussion Series invites some of the biggest names in the industry to discuss contemporary issues and future trends affecting both casual fans and TV insiders.
NBC looks like it'll be great (again) this year! Friday Night Lights!!!!!!
