Love those a-thon's! Dance-a-thon's are my fav! candy-eating-a-thon's are cool too. But really, who can beat a Beauty-A-Thon!?
Here's the info/article from BeautyNewsNYC (who else?):
It’s A Beauty-A-Thon!By Sheryl George
Twenty-four hours of free pampering and products are headed towards NYC on Thursday, November 8th.
Beauty.com , one of the top beauty e-commerce destinations, will host the first ever, all day (and all-night) beauty shop. Customers can stop by 184 5th Ave as early as 6 a.m. on Tuesday [I think they mean Thursday] morning to snatch a “scoop” from the free beauty goods bin. Remember the saying goes "the early bird gets the worm," so early risers may get the chance to get free goody bags filled with tons of must-have beauty products. Visitors will also have a chance to receive personal consultations with industry gurus like Ted Gibson, Oscar Blandi and Peter Thomas Roth, in addition to the Beauty.com team of experts.
Around the clock beauty stations will give consumers a chance to check out the latest in beauty must-haves and trends. Early birds get to see how to make the most of their look in the morning to create a perfect complexion and a dazzling smile. Lunch browsers can learn how to create a lively look for an afternoon pick-me-up minus the latte run. Girls who need to get ready for a night out can get help with creating that perfect smoky eye or sexy pout. A night-time session will give the 411 on how to de-stress [all abt de-stressing...more on that later] from the day and learning how to put on those night creams to get you ready for the bustling day ahead.
So if you have some time in the day, stop by for some freebies, makeup tips and insider expertise. After all, it's 24 hours so you can't say you don't have time for this around-the-clock event! Did we mention this is all free?
